A Little Monday Night Viewing Party
Ok amazing children (and families)…what do you think about organizing a “viewing party” here at school for the premiere of our interview with channel 13’s very own Bruce Kopp? I was thinking that everyone could bring something to share (a snack of some sort) and we could watch our interview together and celebrate what a fantastic opportunity “What’s Cool in Your School?” is giving us. Let me know if your family is up for it! I’ll send home slips tomorrow! 5 days and counting!

What’s Cool in Our School??? Us, of course … and our water project! We were so grateful to Bruce Kopp from Channel 13 (WTHR) for coming to our school to hear our story and feature us on his segment, What’s Cool in Your School! Watch our story on Monday, December 5th, at 5:30 p.m. I am so proud of my sixth grade leaders!

What a fantastic way to start our week back after Thanksgiving break…we continue to have so many people to be thankful for!!!!

We are Mrs. Rahmany's sixth grade students at Sunnyside School of International Studies. We have started a Water Project to try and raise money to build a well in Kenya so that kids just like us can have access to clean water. To raise money, we have created multiple activities such as a candy sale, Parent's Night Out, a variety show, a whole school Penny War, challenging our teachers to participate in a Water Challenge, and selling custom buttons that we have made! This blog is for you to keep up with what our class is doing and to allow you to follow our progress. We are saving lives one drop at a time.
